Western Regional Youth Event (WRYE) is an event that happens every four years. Youth (current 6th graders to current 12th graders) from churches in the United Church of Christ in the western half of the United States come together for music, inspirational speakers, direct service opportunities, workshops, games, fun, and this time we’re also doing a day at Disneyland! We’re inviting youth from thirteen states—from Hawaii to Colorado, from Washington to New Mexico. Because of the pandemic this will be our first chance to gather in six years! That’s a whole generation of middle and high school! We’re incredibly excited to make WRYE a reality again. Come join us and experience what it’s like to be a part of something bigger than your local faith community as we join with youth groups from across the country!
